In fairness, apart from the usual drunken rantings from Singram last night, the debates on both transfer bids have been pretty good and well rounded on there.
The MyFC members do want to do what is in the best interests of the club.

The offer is actually a huge insult to the player - not even talking about the club.
Someone should ask York what their debt is these days - because we don't have any - we're not that desperate.

It does seems that the other clubs seem to think we are easy fodder in signing our better players. No doubt Lance will be next. As mentioned lets hope the members see sense that we must keep our better players so that LD can build a team around them

Surely they can't be serious. Something tells me York have only done this as a publicity stunt - if it was a serious offer I can't see them wanting to reveal that it was they who have made a bid for him. Either that or someone somwhere along the like have missed a zero off of his valuation.

York can go and do one for all im concerned. they are taking the michael aren't they! I wouldn't want either gash or darius to go but no disrespect to gash but if someone has bid 30k for him then darius is worth ten times maybe more than him.

Gash is worth at least 40-50k and darius is immense and the club have stated that there are championship and fl clubs after him already so i would say a 6 figure fee for him. Also i know people on here have belittled my valuations for lance, gash and darius because morrison went to millwall for a 6 figure fee and i didnt see much difference in him and gash.

You have heard of 'Geeks Corner' right?Jeff - Geeks Corner has been an acceptable term as far as I am concerned for the last year and a half - ever since some of my fellow MyFC members took up residence there. Normally I inhabit the quieter parts of the Plough End (lol) but on my last visit took up residence in the 'Corner' and almost got sunburnt - did meet up with many MyFC/EUFC regulars though (some who I'd met before and others that I hadn't). Nice to be thought of at 54 as any sort of 'Geek'. Personally, I consider myself first and foremost a football geek! By the way, York City you are having a laugh - almost as funny as their open air away end male urinals!

Morrison finished top of the goalscoring charts with 31 goals, Gash didn't.
Can you see a bit of a difference yet? -)

£10K for Darius is an insult to him and to the club.
I have voted NO and so will everyone else.Somehow we have to get a conveyor belt of youngsters coming through. Then if we had to sell the occasional player for decent money, we could fill some of the gap in our finances

Daves nan what im on about is that morrison in my eyes is overrated and how many of his goals i wonder were from the penalty spot. Michael isnt the big target man as morrison is. Gash plays off the front man and chases balls down and is a team player.
