Just a quick one. How did it ever come about that renewals day is Feb 19th? Seems a bit inconvenient to be mid/late season.

Anniversary of the take over.

February 19th is the date of the official takeover of EUFC, membership lasts for 12 months which is why the majority of renewals are on or around the date of February 19th (there are a couple of hundred due to renew on the 20th and 21st also) but just over 3200 due to renew before midnight tonight....so far 31 have renewed today

Isn't there a school of thought that many are waiting 'til pay day at the end of the month?

I wish that was the case, last year between the 18th and 20th of February the society brought in over £100,000.
Since yesterday we have brought in approx 6K
Its not looking good.......however there is still time for change

Why am I not suprised ?
I remember this time last year when the people from MYFC was telling us many thousands would renew and they didn't.
The only suprising thing for me is that others are suprised.Posted 5 months ago # -

Ah got it. Mind you if you look towards the top of this page on the left hand side it says "join here for £35".

im not a member anymore but i always thought that having all the memberships expire at the start of the season(aug or sept)would be smart . so if a person joins in july their membership would be good for 14 months. if a person's membership would expire in oct and they reup theirs would expire in 11 months. just a thought
