While the discussion rages on about whether we need a new home kit next season, it got me thinking.

I'm sure that we've said here before that we've had about 20 kits in the last 10 years. Has anyone bought them all? Includingthe Wemley top and anything like that? Do we have pictures of them all?

And who has the most kits overall? Not just the past 10 years, but all together?

    Lets see some pictures!

I have every shirt from the Shepherd Neame sponsored days. I even have a green third kit from sponsoring Mark Ricketts.

I'm not a massive shirt gatherer as many of you know but to put it in league terms if Jimmy and Mike are Ensleigh League Division One then I'd be The Vauxhall Conference.

I have the Gladwish Landsales, Austrian, Eurostar Nike x2*, all homes plus I have the Eurostar Nike White and Green, both long sleeves.

So the upper end of the Vauxhall Conference but still Vauxhall Coference, Cheltenham maybe?

    *I got Yussef's shirt.

A quick count up & I have got 13 ! I would have had 14 but I gave one away to a girl who was going back to Ireland.

Just as a matter of interest - who were our shirt sponsors in the 90s? I recall Sprint Engineering on a really cheap looking shirt but before that ? Marvel Sports and Batt Cables? Any others?

Wesleyan Assurance also had a turn, holding the shirt sponsorship before Sprint.

I think Wesleyan came after Sprint JC. The Wesleyan shirt was a nice Spall one with an embroidered badge. There was also an earlier Mr Ham Man which was a cheap screen print jobby. Anyone one able to shed any light on pre Wesleyan and Sprint?

Wesleyan was definitely pre-Sprint - the Sprint sponsorship began in 1992/1993 when I started going regularly, with Wesleyan's ending the season before.

Cheers for all the info. It's helped me put a case to myfc against getting stuck with another 2 new kits next season.
