I would go with either the same team from saturday or maybe darius in for deano because near the end of the game saturday he was struggling with a knock to his ankle and maybe forshaw in for wills on the bench depending if forshaw was injured or not on saturday.
The other reason to bring darius in would be to offer a bit more strength to the defence, but i would keep holmesy as captain for the rest of the season.

the only changes I'd make to that team that gave an excellent performance on Saturday would be down to fatigue or injuries. Obviously, I'd need to be closer to the players to find out really.

Deano looked like he was struggling near the end plus darius would add a bit of pace to the back 4 because cole and yemi are a tad quick and i feel gav and dean may struggle with their pace.

I'd keep the same team pretty much, but as you've mentioned, bring Darius in for Pooley. Back Four would be Heeroo-Smith-Darius-Salmon. Keep the same midefield with Stavrinou protecting the back four. West on the right, keep Bailey on the left. Holmes in the centre, but with Alex in front of the back four, again Holmes will have more freedom to roam. Shakes playing in just behind Magno, i think that worked well yesterday. Holmes joining in on the attack made things alot better up top for us.
Subs would be:
Lamprell-Pooley-Welsh-Forshaw-WillsPosted 8 months ago # -
Westy and shakes were both playing off vieira, westy was actually on the left.

Oh right, that worked well then. so it's a 4-3-2-1 formation?

For those who are technically minded, we actually played 4-1-3-1-1. It looks complex, but it is essentially simple, holding midfielder, then 3 in a line across the centre, Shakes playing off Mango.
The big advantsge of this formation is that(in theory, at least) you have a very strong central spine, which is what most believe to be neccessary to have a successful side.Posted 8 months ago # -
I take it we'll see this formation Tomorrow too?

Cannot see any reason to change the formation - perhaps Darius will return in place of Pooley.
At least the team have realised finally that short crisp passing is actually more effective than the dire route 1 that we have endured for 4 months.
Now, about the kick offs.................................pass the effing thing SHORT!!!!!!!!!!Posted 8 months ago # -
Gaz it's never going to happen.

I reckon we'll play a goalkeper and 10 outfield players, who plays and where I'll leave to Liam

Our kick offs are horrific. They are actually laughable!

Nearly every team, will get a throw in from our kick offs, FACT.

You can have lots of fun betting on which advertising hoarding they hit though.

Another thing which I don't understand. Whenever we have a goal kick everyone squeezes onto one side of the pitch. Why can't Lance fire his kick down the deserted side with someone quick like Ricky haring after it?
Perhaps that's not professional, but that shouldn't matter to a team that kicks off like 8 year olds

Is there any news on Crooks?

According to the programme on Saturday, he is scheduled to return to training "in the next week" from a groin injury.

Could be a potential headache selecting the defensive line for Daish then tomorrow.

What a lovely thing to here

As long as we play with the same passion, Grit and determination as Saturday we can beat Satonage, As KK would say... I'd just love it if we beat them, Just Love it,

I think BlinkJim mentioned the Kick offs on anothe thread. Its all to do with tactics, it pens the opposition into their area with just a throw-in to get out of it.
