    When I lived in Swanscombe the Blue Anchor in Swanscombe Street was very good, mind you I am talking about 25/30 years ago, Don Hazel knew how to run a pub

    You're so right there - Don was a good landlord...

    Sadly the pub is now a dive....

    you can still walk from stanhope road through the new foot path,brings you out in the industrial estate opposit the ground.
