Oh well that's a shame.

Could Gillingham afford him?

Can Ebbsfleet afford him?

Just spoke my my Gillingham Supporting mate who was at the Wycombe game on Saturday, he said that at the end of the Match Stimpson approached the Supporters but got so much abuse he just walked away clapping sarcastically, so Todays news was expected.

If Hessy doesn't get the job, I think LD is a likely candidate and he would probably take a few (ex)Fleet players with him.

I would agree that LD is one of their more affordable options.
According to some reports, Gills haven't got a bean in the bank.
I could see Lance, Darius, Leon, Holmes and Viera as the only players likely to succeed in Div 2.Posted 4 months ago # -
Would add the other half of M&M to that list too IMO Gaz...

The clever money is on Gianfranco Zola being available tomorrow.
Mind you he is probably still good enough to play for Gillingham.

He played in a testimonial the other day, he's still good enough to play for west ham

Not so sure about Moses.
Whilst there is no doubt about his goalscoring prowess, i think there is something lacking....professionalism, never say die, 90 minutes of football.
Allleague players need to posess that, even when they are more limited in skill.Posted 4 months ago # -
Maybe right... i did at first think he was a lazy g*t!!
But i could cite a few league players that dont fit that above bill!!
Man of the moment i give you........ A*** M****r.......
But on the whole have to agree with you.
edited boss!!

Allleague players need to posess that, even when they are more limited in skill.I wouldn't say he didn't have a never say die attitude - anyone who witnessed his brilliant display against Luton away would realise this. Personally, I think it was more a case of fitness mixed with a kind of arrogance. The ammount of knocks he got from oppposition players combined with the fact he realised he was probably too good for Non-league football probably made him seem less energetic than other players.

It's difficult to pinpoint what the X factor really is.
Akinde, Charlie Mac, Hatch and God forbid even Sam Sodje have it.
It's that never say die attitude that makes the difference.Posted 4 months ago # -

Charlie Mac yes, Liam Hatch yes but Akinde only managed to play 90 minutes a couple of times and Sodje would have had it if he was half the player he thought he was.
I would have Magno in the side ahead of both Akinde and Sodje, ideally I would have Charlie Mac and the Beast up front together with Ports picking up anything loose in the area (and with the Beast up there he is likely to be picking up the centre halfs teeth).Posted 4 months ago # -
Now they have released half there squad:
Captain Barry Fuller experienced pros Simon Royce and Mark Bentley and youngsters such as Tom Wynter are all free to seek employment elsewhere
Other players whose contracts are expiring are Garry Richards, John Nutter, Stuart Lewis, Adam Miller, Rashid Yussuff, Dennis Oli, James Walker, Luis Cumbers, Andy Pugh and Jacob Erskine.Posted 4 months ago # -
No manager, no money, no players, crap chairman living in Dubai.
Relegation to the Conference beckoning?Posted 4 months ago # -
