Does anyone know what the attendance was a Stevenage today, I didn't hear it announced, at most away games I have been at this season the opposition Secretary has given me the figures, as I do at home games, I looked round for Stevenage officials before I left to drive home but they conspicious by their absence, the only person I did manage to see said he didn't know

I bet they didn't announce it out of embarrassment! Where were they all today? It looked like one of our attendances!

It was 809. Pi pip.!

Thanks Chas, I saw that in the paper as well.
Was hoping for more than that as we get 50% after all the expenses are taken out, but by the look of it all the gates in the Trophy were down yesterday, Oxford went from 5188 for our game to 1,803 for the Trophy game, perhaps something to do with season ticket holders having to pay.
Only the Kent Senior Cup to play for as far as silverware is concerned, oh and the little matter of Conference Premier survival

Well, at least we can still do the double....

Got the impression from the Stevenage fans yesterday that they were not overly bothered about it.
Nice to see Stacy clap the Fleet fans at the end of the match. Also nice to see his dad in the away end.

We must meet Glyn.
We go to all the matches but I have no idea who you are.

How to break this gently....its you Jeff, Glyn is the voice in your head that tells you to 'do' things.
Except on Fridays of course when you let Lolita out to play.

I think you will find that the voice is akearney DN.

The Sunday Mirror has the attendance as 809, the NLP has it as 890, that is 3 different attendances stated so far, any advance on this?
I have e-mailed the Stevenage secretary to advise me of the official figure that is going on the report form to the FA

851 was announced Peter.

Have you taken leave of your senses?
Or have I just been whooshed?

I think the latter Ed.

Sure was but don't worry because I also got a load over on the Boro forum.
I love the way they're all so "we could win the FA Trophy with our eyes shut but it will fuck up our promotion chances so lets not bother".
One guy wants to go through a few more rounds for the money and then bail out.
Next week they're having a fans meeting with the club to work out which league games they would like to win and which ones they want to draw.
It's pathetic how arrogant they are that they just expect to just turn up and win, it's something that seeps down from the management of the club and from that greasy haired little goon they have as manager.

Attaboy, Paul.
That's more like it!Posted 7 months ago # -
Greasy haired little goon, Another nice description of Mr Westly

but it will fuck up our promotion chances so lets not bother".
Is this sort of language allowed on this forum???
Especially from someone that surely should know better; i.e. a moderator?

Sorry to correct Peter Danzey but I did not see the attendance figure in any newspaper. 809 was what I was given in the press box during the game on Saturday by the Stevenage press officer. So there. Pip pip. Lord C.

Can I just say hats off to our away support there wasnt many of us but for almost the full 95 mins we sung and cheered. Was a god awful game but we did all we could to back the lads ! Keep it up !

Chas,
I received the figure of 809 from the Secretary of Stevenage this morning, so obviously all those other figures that was banded around were incorrect.
