Here is what the final table would look like with the perfect scenario, that is Fleet winning both against Gateshead and Tamworth and every other team losing their final games (unlikely) :

    Tuesday 13th April

    Forest Green 0 points - 39 (H to Crawley)

    Sat 17th April

    Eastbourne 0 points - 43 (A to Kettering)
    Gateshead 0 points - 42 (A to Fleet)
    Ebbsfleet 3 points - 41 (H to Heed)
    Forest Green 0 points - 39 (H to Histon)

    Tuesday 20th April

    Gateshead 0 points - 42 (H to Stevenage)

    Saturday 24th April

    Ebbsfleet 3 points - 44 (A to Tamworth)
    Eastbourne 0 points - 43 (H to Oxford)
    Gateshead 0 points - 42 (H to Wombles) RELEGATED
Forest Green 0 points - 39 (A to Grays) RELEGATED

    ___________________________________________________________________________________

And here is the table if Fleet win both their games, but with rough estimations of what the other teams will do:

    Tuesday 13th April

Forest Green 1 points - 40 (H to Crawley) Crawley don't have much to play for anymore

    Sat 17th April

Eastbourne 1 points - 44 (A to Kettering) Kettering are poor at home, nothing to play for.
    Gateshead 0 points - 42 (A to Fleet)
    Ebbsfleet 3 points - 41 (H to Heed)
    Forest Green 1 points - 41 (H to Histon)

    Tuesday 20th April

Gateshead 1 points - 43 (H to Stevenage) Stevenage may relax a bit but won't roll over

    Saturday 24th April

Forest Green 3 points - 44 (A to Grays) Almost certain 3 points
    Eastbourne 0 points - 44 (H to Oxford)
Ebbsfleet 3 points - 44 (A to Tamworth) RELEGATED (based on estimated GD)
    Gateshead 0 points - 43 (H to Wombles) RELEGATED

Goal difference could be what send us down in this instance, which would be painful. But say Eastbourne or FGR drop a point less than my estimations then we'd stay up.

It really isn't over yet. Basically we HAVE to win our last two games and just hope with everything crossed that the other results go our way. It is possible, let's not resign ourselves until it's really over.

    Up the Fleet!

That sounds very optimistic. Well done Hannah. I believe we can do it but it will be a tough order.

Predicting results of other teams is very dangerous, hands up anyone who expected Eastbourne to beat York yesterday

Don't try to predict other teams results, Just win our last two games and we will have done all we can, If others then fail either on the pitch or financially we will be in a position to benefit.

I think it is a big ask seeing as FGR have got Grays to play last game of the season.

    Cheers,

Lets just see how FGR get on against Crawley on Tuesday night. I would like us to stay up but all im saying is, it's a huge ask to rely on us to get 6pts from our remaining 2 games.

There is no need for a slanging match, you should both respect each others views.

Exactly Old Fan, it would be pretty boring if everyone agreed on the same thing.

Whilst Albie78 is right to state that "it is a big ask seeing as FGR have got Grays to play last game of the season", I seem to recall seeing the mighty Fleet thrashed at home by an already relegated Southport on the last game of a rather recent season.

It wasn't the last game and they weren't already relegated but we were thrashed.
We'll stay up off the pitch anyway so it doesn't matter what anyone else does.
Grays are probably going to be taking voluntary relegation down to the Ryman premier at best and then ground sharing with, Thurrock, Aveley or East Thurrock United.

Erm, there are other teams in it?
Gateshead and Eastbourne are still in it, aswell as us and FGR. It's wide open for those last two spots. As long as we win our last two games, that's all we can do.

Alternatively, if we DO succeed and stay up, it might bring us one of these victories:

Yes. It does look a little on the tall side.

    Unlike our earlier victims.
