Borough were already trailing to goals from Peter Doran and Chris Denham when Opinel was dismissed for throwing an arm at Denham just before half-time.

A very cold Yours Truely watched Jacko, Darren Smith and Lee Spiller stumble to defeat against Sittingbourne this afternoon.
Jacko's standards are slipping as I counted at least two mis-placed passes!
The game was marred by the sending off of Simon Austin of Folkstone for an absolutely awful fould on the sittingbourne keeper.

In the debit column, though, it was disappointing to see him give his nickname as simply 'Duke' rather than 'The Fridge', and strange to see him say his last red card was for us against Stevenage seven years ago, an incident I can't recall actually happening.

It was really good to learn that Luke Moore returned from his hip surgery in December to play in Don's local cup tie against Chipstead this week. Apparently, he hopes to be on Don's bench for this coming weekend.

i went to watch thurrock v braintree tonight......
George Purcell scored for braintree, craig hollaway made some decent saves in the braintree goal and matt judge was a secend half sub for thurrock (was talking to him at half time) braintree stayed strong and won the game 2-1.thurrock had a great player upfront and scored, won every ball, had great pace, broke through the defence, had everything, his normal position is at centre back, but for some reason their manager played him upfront, his name was Paul Olima, defiantly worth looking at!
