Kings Lynn to be demoted from BSN

   I know there are many criteria that have to be achieved to enable a club to get the required grading to play at any level in the football pyramid, but this does seem somewhat extreme, particularly as they appear to be working towards achieving what has been asked.

   Certainly if the picture is anything to go by (and I know it only shows one side of the stadium), their ground would appear to be somewhat better than our own.

   The Kings Lynn chairman's comment "We've been to grounds that are virtually derelict" could almost be aimed at Stonebridge Road and they currently play in the league below us where you would anticipate that the ground requirements are slightly lower than our own?

   Not sure what they would be lower on, but its probably some of the health and safety stuff or stuff like making sure a certain number of seats are under cover, or even providing adequate changing rooms.

   West Norfolk & Kings Lynn Borough Council own the ground and have promised to pump in £250,000 to try and rectify the situation - now that's what I call a good use of Council Tax! Apparently the Conference hierarchy are giving this a sympathetic ear, so not done and dusted yet.
