    Hi,

Just wondered when people who are due to renew MyFC membership on Feb 19th, plan to renew, that is If you are going to do so ?.

Many have talked about renewing when their monthly salery comes in .

2,833 have renewed so far, so it would be good to get to 3,000 by the beginning of February before the big push starts. New people are joining MyFC all the time aswell.

Renewals can be made by paypal, credit card & debit card at
    http://members.myfootballclub.co.uk/renew

    Cheers

Unfortunatley , though I have met a few genuine people via MYfc , the site is of no use to me as I go to most games , read reports on here and speak to fellow supporters. My interest was killed ages ago by several abrupt and non understanding members. I am not willing to pay £35 of which a sizeable percentage is taken to run a site I dont use. £35 to the club will be my preferred option at this stage.

Of course , if anyone can convince me otherwise on 31st then I will rejoin on 19th February , but I dont hold our much hope of that.

Whichever way , my funds will end up in the club one way or another

The renewal date has to fall on my birthday doesn't it! It would be the worst birthday present if we don't end up with enough to keep us going...

I'm with Riverview on this one. I'll put my money directly into the club and not through some website where someone else pockets a large proportion of the money.

Hi, I have recently been interested in signing up a member of MyFC and I appreciate you must have answered the question I am about to ask several times but what exactly does MyFC offer me for my £35(?). Would you recommend (honestly) signing up to MyFC. As a keen follower not only of football this concept is something that has interested me for a while now. Thankyou in advance for any replies.

Initially it was my link to all things Ebbsfleet but once you get into the Fleet then you find other ways of keeping in touch. However, as a long distance fan (well, Norfolk) the MyFC site has hepled me meet and keep in touch with others worldwide who have come to appreciate the Fleet and who can only get to Stonebridge Road occasionally if at all. It also has helped me to understand the more intricate workings of a football club and what you need to know to make quality choices.

What key decisions do members make other than line-up choices/transfers ?? I myself am not an Ebbsfleet fan (I'm a Torquay fan) so it would be more interesting for me to as you said "understand the more intricate workings of a football club and what you need to know to make quality choices". Would you recommend becomming a member even as a fan of another club ?? I understand many people registered but have been idle towards their shall we say 'responsibilities' to the club, why was this ?? Do you think the £35 fee is value for money ??

    Hi bathy,

I think it is worth the investment. I live in the U.S., so I will probably never make it to a game. And this has been enjoyable process to watch this thing grow and evolve. We have had growing pains and ups and downs. But that is true of all new organizations. Especially one breaking new ground such as this. We do make make decisions on the line ups and transfers. But we also vote on budgets, contracts, and various other things related to the club. Think of it as playing a football manager game, as I hear others say. The difference here is, if you make a mistake, there is no reboot and start over. You have to live with your mistake. And if your mistake affects someone's paycheck, they have to live with it too. So you have to stay involved with what is going on. If you can't do that, then it may not be right for you. This is all just my opinion, and others will disagree. But that is how I see it.

But I think you should join, because we are always glad to take a Torquay fan's money!!!!! :D
