I just wanted to wish you all good luck tomorrow. A home win and a Gateshead defeat to Luton and the Fleet could be out of the bottom 4. As I have said before I am an occasional visitor as I an a Gills man (and we need three points just as badly tomorrow against a very strong Colchester side). I was there with my daughter last Saturday and I though the last 25 mins against Altrincham were very exciting and gave some good cause for positive thinking (and if that silly girl of a ref had been a bit more even handed things might have ended up differently). Pity about the penalty miss on Tuesday however but these things happen. Anyway, here's to a win double tomorrow for Kent's two premier teams!!

Certainly agree with the good luck to the 'Fleet. But to Gillingham ......... nah!

Good luck to Colchester United, hope you give Scally and his cronies a bloody good hiding.

Gillingham are one step up the food chain from Dartford.

OK. I get the message. Perhaps you'd rather I keep my money in my back pocket next time the Fleet are at home and I'm not attending a Gills game.

You keep coming along Stano, the more the merrier..... otherwise we will get the doom & gloom brigade on moaning about falling attendances again !!

There's nothing personal with the football club at all
We have issues with Scally wanting to take us over a few years ago, and we hate Stimmo from his appalling antics against us when he was at Canvey.

Well, the jury is well and truly out on him at Gillingham at the moment! I tend to look at the club rather than the individuals temporarily in charge. Gillingham was there long before Scally and Stimson and will still be there long after them. Same with all clubs I suppose and not unlike the MyFC situation with the Fleet.
I just wished the Fleet well and didn't expect the negativity as a thanks for taking the time out to do so. I and my 10 year old daughter enjoy our visits down the A2. We almost made it to double figures last year and a quick count shows we have been to 6 games so far this season.
Anyway, I will repeat, Up the Fleet and here's to 5th from bottom come 5 o'clock on Saturday!!

I just think it is more a traditional thing to be honest.

One of my best mates is a Gills fan. We have had muchos banter over the years.

I even went with him to watch the playoff final in 1999. I kept quiet at the end.

Anyone who comes along to support the Fleet deserves us to reciprocate.
Anyway why would anyone want Colchester to win? They are in Essex for goodness sake

Irrespective of any opinion held about the Gills ( and I must admit I am not a fan ), it does not cost anything to be polite. If Stano wants to watch us on a Gills free day then we should welcome him.....or are we rich enough to pick & choose who we let in ? I think not !

    Cheers,

Don't really have much of a reason to hate the Gills atm. We never play them to class them as rivals. I just dislike them, 'cause they're another Kentish side. Good luck against Col U tomorrow.

Sure as local football fans we all have 'our' team, But after that I like to see our other local teams doing well in their respective leagues, Lets face it we are not overloaded in Kent with League football are we,
Thanks for the good wishes stano and good luck to the Gills, Dover, Dartford etc etc and Maidstone except next tuesday

You have got to be joking. My ideal weekend would be 3 points for the 'Fleet and all of the above getting stuffed.

I agree with Hirsty, anyone who is willing to come and cheer the Fleet on is welcome as far as I am concerned.
Well maybe not Dirtford or Maidscum but Gills, Dover, Margate etc etc are all welcome as are Charlton, Millwall and Old Uncle Tom Cobbley.

Good luck to nearly all Kent teams tomorrow.

Yes, we have to make up for the lost reveunue now that JP is unable to attend.

Also, did we all think that the 26,000 plus fans that went to Wembley all game from Gravesham ? or did some come from other parts of Kent to cheer us on ? Hmmmm....difficult one !!

    Cheers,

My take is if they're not immediate competitors, good luck to them (unless they're Dartford)... but as soon as we have to face them - no prisoners taken...
