As we all know Gateshead is an age away for travelling support and most of the time this puts people off!...If the club run a special away "trip" i.e: overnight stay, grub, entry to ground, stuff like that....Who would be interested??

This is kind of awkward as weather could be rubbish in February. If we runa a minibus at least we can cancel it. However 300 Miles back from Gateshead in dark with possible poor weather does not even sound like joy.
I will go , probably try and take Friday afternoon off and travel up getting to a travellodeg late evening then home following evening. Unless duty calls , and minibus needs me.
Its these trips that make away support so much fun

Lol yes Mike the club are looking into it...sort of a package deal, we are trying to get it out there and seen a.s.a.p so people know about it then depending on the response we may have a trip or not.
The trip will most likely inc. Trip up...Entry to the ground, programme, food, Overnight stay, Trip back.

Just had a chat...It will be Proper everything such as Hotel..Food..Coach maybe a stop off on the way home aswell depending. It will be advertised soon so look out for it....+ there is plenty of time to save!!! not that it will be that expensive anyway! Please post your interest or queries. Thanks.

this sounds great,at least two of us are up for this.in fact couldnt this be done on more occasions, like barrow for example.that was one long day last year

As soon as I saw the fixture list, I looked for this one. Flying to a Fleet match would be great. You can get there straight from the airport is well.
As RS says, the weather could scupper it. Newcastle is quality.

We was thinking about other matches Andy as you said Barrow was one....which also falls on a Saturday. Speaking to others this has had a good reaction aswell so its good to see people are taking to the idea on here.
