I sense that we are going to have a repeat of what happened last season. With the harsh weather over the past month, matches have been called off and other matches that have affected us. The following are still yet to be arranged:

    Wrexham (H) - BSP
Mansfield Town (A) - BSP (I've been told be Drummer Scott this is now Tuesday 7th April)
    Kidderminster Harriers (H) - BSP
    Northwich Victoria (H) - BSP
Crawley Town (A) - Setanta Shield 5th Round
Whitstable Town (A) - Kent Senior Cup QF

It makes you think if we are able to carry on in these cup competitions. If we were to progress through the Setanta Shield, this can result in two midweek matches in the space of one week at some point. They want the final to be played in first week of March? Then there's the FA Trophy... there's the possibility of another midweek match should we gain a reply in the quarter final. If we were to progress to the semi-final, this means the possibilty of two more BSP matches being called off. The Blue Square need to look at the structure of the football season and this should be extended by two or three weeks.

I'm only glad that it's only two away matches in midweek, Crawley I might not need to book an afternoon off work!

Mansfield game is confirmed as Tuesday 7th April, according to the Mansfield Town official website.

Got the day booked off for this one, let's hope there's no April showers!

I really do think because of the weather this year the league have got to looking extending the season for another week or so.

I remember the scottish league did it the other year when Rangers got to the UEFA Cup final and they had loads of games to catchup on, it really would make sense!

Mansfield now confirmed means 5 games to fit in this is crazy!

The Kent FA, Conference and Setanta really need to talk to each other about this.
It is an utter shambles for everyone concerned.

The Kent FA probably don't really care all that much, seeing that the Kent Senior Cup is classed as "reserve team" games. It strikes me why the BSP season finishes two to three weeks before the Football League and the Premier League when we play more matches than what they do! Surely is not just to accommodate the play-off finals at Wembley.

Bloody hell, that is what you call outrageous! It's going to be an expensive few weeks. We have 4 or 5 midweeks free at the most, plus if we can play a match on 28th February. It's going to be tough, especially if we're looking at the bottom of the table and not towards the top end.

I'd imagine there are a lot of clubs far worse off than us though. Looking at the league table a lot of teams have 2 or 3 games more to play than us.

But we pay the penalty of being good at cups, 3 quarter finals.

I was going to edit my post earlier, but couldn't... it is a possibility that it could be called off.

The ground is frozen and heavy rain is on it's way over Thursday and Friday. If this happens, the rainwater will have nowhere to go. But who knows, it's the unpredictable weather.

Is the Northwich game classified as home or away though? 'cause the sign above the turnstiles is not showing a match number.

Thats what I was thinking, I was just questioning the lack of match number which is usually displayed so prominent.
