EUFC are now signed up to a fundraising website thanks to work done by the Fundraising Working Group.

EUFC gets a cut if people but anything via the website ( eg Argos ) , or send for a brochure (10 p ).

The difference is that if you use their search engine for all your searches, that too benefits EUFC.

Can I ask you to do the following,

Register , name, email address , a password at
    http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/Register/?char=22151

Then if you can, buy your online goods, and look for other ways to earn cash for eufc at
    Fundraising Website . http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ebbsfleetufc

Set this Search Engine up as your home page or bookmark it for regular use

Just posting some more details on this one -

This is the latest proposed initiative from the Fund-Raising Working Group. The initiative has the support of the MyFC Society Board and the EUFC Club Board.

MyFC has had the ‘Mall’ as a vehicle to raise funds from members searching and purchasing goods online line. It is a useful initiative but the Fund-Raising Working Group felt that the idea needed to be extended to include more retail outlets that would contribute donations to the club and to have a similar initiative that non-MyFC members could access and contribute to club funds.

As a result we are proposing that members sign-up to the following initiative from ‘easyfundraising’

This website has over 600 retailers that MyFC members and club supporters can use to raise funds for the club just by purchasing goods online as people have done in the past.

Furthermore, the site has a number of special offers whereby members and supporters can apply for free items and the club will receive a donation. For example, if someone wants to order a sim card from Tesco Mobile, the club will receive £0.60 in a donation. If someone wants to avail of a 14 day free trial with Lovefilm then the club will receive a donation of £8.00. Alliance and Leicester will donate £25.00 to the club if you open a current account with the bank and £0.60 if you place a free advert on EasyRoommate.com. The club will earn a £4.00 donation for every member who registers and uses eBay. There are many retailers offering donations for signing up to free newsletters etc and if the 9,500 members of MyFC were to sign-up for just three different offers the club would get anything from £10,000-£100,000 in donations.

There are also significant other donations available to the club from using a wide variety of retailers providing donations from 1%-10% to specific sums of money up to £35 for purchasing items through the website.

We feel that this website offers an opportunity to raise significant funds for the club and we would encourage all members to register if they want to purchase goods online or feel that they could benefit from signing-up to the free offers.

    So what do you do:

    1. You have to register with easyfundraising and you have to name Ebbsfleet United as the cause you want to support. You can do that here

    http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/Register/?char=22151

    2. When you have registered you can browse through the various offers and retailers here

    http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/

You will have to make sure that you log-in to the site before you request or purchase any offers.

    3. There is a further facility that raises funds for the club. This is through using an internet search engine called ‘easysearch’. Each internet search carried out using ‘easysearch’ generates approximately 0.55pence for the club. This is similar to kelkoo in the MyFC Mall – except that there is no limit on the number of searches that you can carry out and it is a general search engine rather than a search engine for products for sale on the internet. In order to use easysearch and benefit the club you will need to have logged-in to easyfundraising and use this page

    http://ebbsfleetufc.easysearch.org.uk/

We suggest that you add this page to your favourites and use it when searching the internet (and remember to log-in if necessary).

The potential exists for substantial sums of money to be generated by members and supporters through this website and through the ‘Mall’. We encourage all members and supporters to avail of this opportunity.

    £44.25 total funds raised..

from 8,688 completed searches as of 31 July.

So that's about 0.5p per search then.
