Bobby Gould appointed new manager at Weymouth
I can't quite get my head round how a club who couldn't afford to pay their players a month or so ago (or even insure them) suddenly name him as their new manager - I'm sure he's not doing for the love of Weymouth
Also they sign Cliff Akurung on loan (someone we may well have been looking at) who doesn't come cheap
Strange happenings on the south coast

    It's a commie plot Harry !!

Lewes start winning just as we are about to play them..........and you can bet that Weymouth, having lost 10 in a row is it ? will play like Brazil next Saturday.....it's all b*llocks !

    Cheers,

Indeed. And I wonder if they've met all their commitments to ex-players who left without their wages...

We should have asked Chris McPhee on Thursday night whether he had been paid- maybe that was why he was so unhappy
It is sod's law - Weymouth in free fall ..........then we are about to play them and they gain superhuman powers (slight exaggeration there ....maybe just improve it - )
