You better believe it - I would be surprised if more than 10 teams were completely full-time next season (unless players take a major cut in pay).

What is that based on? Have you seen these clubs finanaces?

Well Dom did tell us we would be out of business by Christmas 08
In Doms defence he is pretty accurate on his accounting (except for the above reference)
Based on Weymouth, Lewes, Northwich etc. Add AFC Dons and Luton next season. Well supported and will spread a bit more cash around. Who knows what will happen.

You might remember Mark - I made this assertion before the Akinde transfer and budgeting no prize-money from cup runs. If you look at the figures on MyFC we are pretty much where the budget said we would be. £195,000 surplus from last season (gone now) - £175,000 from Bristol City (gone now) - £53,000 from cup prizemoney (gone now) - up to £70,000 not spent from the playing budget - add to that the money MyFC has put in (which will all be gone by June) - we have very little left in the tank for next season (and MyFC won't have any more membership fees until Feb 2010).
(and MyFC won't have any more membership fees until Feb 2010).
Surely some of those that joined during the year will renew? Would another final appearance not boost numbers? Thought that the live game streaming was part of a major attack on the US to up numbers?
Well membership numbers after peaking at about 9800 seem to be on there way back down now has membership continue to become due.
Part time football is our only option next year unless this major attack in the US can find 10k members from somewhere

My renewal is due tomorrow, but paid up today. There must be a number of renewals due as the months go by.
Yes there are. If you include people who signed up for multiple years, the renewal rate from the pre-feb members was about 20%. If that holds the same, there should be an additional £26k from renewals post Feb (5k * 20% * £26).
