I am for one really looking forward to this one, a great atmospehere is to be expected and hopefully a great result. we would settle for a draw but i can see us sneaking a 2-1 win and i think this could be the game to really kick start our season ....

Did you get to that conclusion on form, squad numbers, injuries and suspensions or was it just a matter of blind faith?

Luke Moore's family coming back should bump up the attendance.

I can see Mooro hitting a hat-trick against us...but if not we in with a chance If we play like we did against Rushden.

If we play like we did against Rushden, we could get a 0-0 draw.

I also can see us sneaking it. James Lindie coming of the bench to get the winner.
we need some firepoweer up front from the start, and not just when Lindie comes on.
Thomas, i thought impressed at Eastbourne, since then has not really been the same, Magno has looked good, works his best, like Gash did last season. i feel Forshaw could do a job up top.
    Cronin
    Pooley-Crooks-Darius-Collins
    Shakes-Heeroo-Bailey-Welsh
    Vieira
    Forshaw.
that would be my team for Saturday.

Never mind the score, how many will attend and pay on the gate and swell the club funds, I predict 2000+

I have posted on the Gills site as we are away at Leeds on Saturday to say that anyone at a loose end should make their way to Stonebridge Road to support the Fleet. I think news re the ground, a bumper crowd and a 1 - 0 home win for the Fleet could kick start a slow but steady rise up the table. A tight game with perhaps a Darius header from a corner would do nicely eh?

I would hope that AFC bring at least 1000, hopefully as many as 1500 for what is almost a local derby.
The news about the ground should spark some interest - so I would be hopeful of a gate in excess of 2500.

i think AFC will bring anything between 1300-1800. Its only just over an hour away, so isnt too far for them to travel. with the Good news aswell, that will hopefully attract more fans as HG says. We should have about 2000+ fans there, so should be a great crowd. And also, nice to see Gills supporters rooting for us.

I for one hope Luke Moore gets a good reception on his return, he was a good player for us, and tried his best at all times. good luck to the lad.

What are the odds on him getting booked for moaning at the ref?

I agree, I always liked Moore and an AFCW mate of mine really rates him so far.

But I suspect he won't get a great reception. Enough people moaned at him when he played for us, so he's bound to get stick from certain quarters.

He always gave his all, scored goals, set up goals. He'll get mixed receptions Saturday. The right side of the Ploughend being the Worst abusers, As they was For Gash, Collins, some of the abuse that comes from them is stupid. He'll get a good reception from us lot on the Left side. would be good to see him back in a Fleet shirt sometime in the future.

He won't get any abuse from me, but as you say I'm on the better side of the steps.

That'll be the side where he scores his goal so he can do an Adebayor-style celebration in front of them.

"I also can see us sneaking it. James Lindie coming of the bench to get the winner."

I know this is odd, but I dreamed this two nights ago: in stoppage time, off a corner kick.

Now if you want the lottery numbers ...

    haha, ledge
we go 1 up, magnificent work from Welsh down that left, cutting in, then cutting it back, Magno Vieira there to tap it in bottom corner. Lukey Moore equalising on the stroke of half time. Lindie coming off the and scoring.
i think we could win, Hope Luke Moore has a good return, a goodcrowd and a good win.

Should hopefully be a cracking atmosphere down at San Stonebridge this afternoon...

Dons will bring big numbers (they filled the away end last time they turned up) and are a league higher now... Lets hope a few locals swell the Fleet numbers

And todays the first day that the discount vouchers are available - make sure you take 1 or 2 and you get them used!

Cheers mate! Yes I'm feeling really well. About 4 months ago I took it on myself to lose some weight and managed to lose two and half stones. I can recommend it, I feel years younger. Still look knackered mind! But thats for years of watching the Terriers!

slightly disappointing attendance - only just over 2000. At least we had more than them, as they only officially had 932 (I think) which wasnt anywhere near the suggested figures.

50/50 prize was very low as well - its normally about 50p in the pot per supporter, but today, it was less than 30p per head.
