These initiatives, shown by the surveys that have accompanied them have shown that, if they are lucky, enough funds may be raised to keep EUFC going to the end of the Season, but not beyond then.</p> <p>A number of members have stated that the best thing for the Club at this point is for MyFC to indicate their desire to seek a new owner who has the financial resources to support the Club in the longer term. These members felt that it was important that this process to be started as soon as possible, so that a new owner can be found and the Club preserved. If a new owner is not found, then it is very likely that the Club will enter administration and either cease to exist or certainly only at a level well below BSP.</p> <p>However, the proposal made on the MyFC website to start the ball rolling has been blocked by the Society Board, who are very short sighted and are only interested in their own initiatives, which are doomed to failure, maybe preventing the inevitable for a few short months. It is time that the Society Board take their heads out of the sand and realise that MyFC cannot support EUFC in a sustainable way and that new owners are required for the Club if the Club is to survive.</p> <p>If you, as fans of EUFC, want the Club to have a new owner, with the resources to support the Club, then you need to speak out now and make the Society Board listen. Many members already know the reality of the situation but are being prevented from taking action by the 7 people in control. The only qualification is to be a Fleet supporter who cares and lives within a 5 mile radius of Stonebridge Road. </p> <p>Apart from the efforts of Mark Nielson and his small band of helpers in the Town Centre there has been very little done to promote Matchdays. When did you last see a Matchday poster or Fixture List in your local shop, pub, club or take-away?
